What we collect, and why

Free excerpt inputs. Whatever you type into the excerpt form — your business idea, target audience, and price point. We send these to our AI provider to generate your free excerpt, and we keep them only long enough to produce it. Then they're deleted. If you buy the full build, your intake is stored with your order so we can generate and re-deliver it.

Checkout. When you buy, we collect your email (to deliver your files and receipt) and an order record (what you bought, when, for how much). That's it.

Newsletter signup. Email is required; phone number and ZIP code are optional and clearly marked so. If you check the separate "text me" box, we record that consent with a timestamp. We use these to send the occasional email about new work — and texts only if you explicitly opted in.

Abuse prevention. We count preview requests per IP address (an hourly rolling counter) to stop bots from burning through our AI budget. No accounts, no tracking cookies, no cross-site analytics that identify you.

Payments: Stripe sees your card, we don't

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, store, or touch your card number — the checkout happens on Stripe's systems under Stripe's privacy policy. We only receive confirmation that your payment succeeded, plus the email you gave us for delivery.

On your device only

Your browser keeps two small localStorage entries: the last product you looked at, and any bundle choices you picked — so the page remembers where you were. This never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data wipes it.

What we never do

• We never sell your data. There is no data business here; the product is the product.
• We never train AI models on your inputs, copy, or brand.
• We never use your business idea or copy in our marketing without your explicit permission.
• We never text you unless you checked the opt-in box — giving us your phone number alone is not consent.

Who else touches your data

Only the services required to run BizBuilder: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and AI inference), and our email provider (receipts and the newsletter you signed up for). Each processes your data only to perform its job.

Your rights

Want a copy of what we hold about you, or want it deleted? Email [email protected] and we'll take care of it. Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all marketing mail — receipts for things you bought still go through, because that's the product working.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and note it here. The version that applied when you used the service is the one that counts for that use.
